The Government Information Security Baseline (BIO) has replaced the specific baselines for the State, Municipalities, Water Boards and Provinces as of January 1, 2019. The existing different standards ( BIG, BIR, IBI and BIWA) have been combined into one standard: the BIO. With the BIO, the government uses one mandatory basic level for information security. One common language for all government organizations.
